Product Description offers ultra sleek and super lightweight matched crank (including new bolt!), water pump, tensioner, power steering, and alternator pulleys for your 24V VR6 engine. These pulleys are precision CNC'd from aircraft grade billet aluminum. Dont buy a cobbled together set from a bunch of different manufacturers, ours is gorgeous matched set! Complete pulley set reduces the engines rotating mass by over 8 lbs !!

PLEASE NOTE - Installation of any or all of our pulleys does not require different length belt, and will not affect aftermarket supercharger installations.

Lightweight Billet Aluminum VR6 Tensioner Pulley
Plastic may have made the bean counters at VW happy, but it has no business as a pulley on your high strung VR6 motor. Ours is extremely light weight and contains a precision bearing that will far outlast the OEM. We even use a snap ring to install the bearing, so if replacement was ever needed, it’s a breeze. Fits 2.8L 24V Golf, Jetta, GTI, MK4 R32, and 3.2L Audi TT. Replaces P/N 022-145-299D (022145299D)

Lightweight Billet Aluminum 24V VR6 Water Pump Pulley
The OEM steel water pump pulley is stamped which creates internal stresses that eventually cause the pulley to crack at the sharp bend radius. Needless to say, you don’t need this problem on a hot running VR. Ours is machined from a solid block of aluminum with generous corner radii and is therefore many times stronger than OEM. Weighing in at a scant 250 grams, its less than half the weight of the stamped OEM steel pulley. Fits all of the 24V VR6 engines as well as 3.2L Audi A3, Q7, and TT. Replaces OEM P/N 021-121-031A (021121031A)

Lightweight Billet Aluminum 24V VR6 Crank Pulley -- Normal Drive, Not Underdrive - comes with a NEW BOLT !
Lose the boat anchor of the Audi and VW VR6 steel crank pulley with this 500 gram lightweight billet aluminum version. It is the lightest crank pulley out there and will allow the engine to spool up faster while preventing inertial losses caused by the overweight OEM pulley. It has been proven by countless hours of track abuse in normally aspirated, turbocharged, and supercharged VR6 engines (WILL NOT VOID SUPERCHARGER WARRANTIES!). Don’t believe the hype about more expensive, heavier, dampened pulleys. Ours HAS BEEN TESTED THOROUGHLY ON TRACK at RPM’s far exceeding redline. The VR6 motors are INTERNALLY BALANCED and do not require expensive, heavy dampened crank pulleys. The factory pulley comes with a thin layer of rubber because it is cheaper to manufacture, and reduces very little vibration at idle inside the car. There is no benefit to it off idle. Lightweight Billet Aluminum 24V VR6 Power Steering Pulley
A lightweight billet aluminum version of the OEM power steering pulley lessens the parasitic losses from the power steering pump. Please note this pulley is non-ribbed. Similar to the water pump pulley, ribs are not needed on the power steering pulley. This pulley has been proven by countless hours of track abuse with no problems whatsoever. Fits 2.8L 24V Golf, Jetta, GTI, MK4 R32 and replaces P/N 038-145-255A (038145255A)

A 100 gram paper-light billet aluminum non-clutched version of the steel OEM alternator pulley that lets the motor spin more freely. Complete your pulley set for a show quality engine bay.     Very nice upgrade from the oem plastic pulley. The bearing was going bad in the old one , so I went this route. Nice feature to be able to replace only the bearing when it comes time. Lifetime part. I will be upgrading the others in the belt drive system in the future .

    I bought all 5 for my 24v VR6 , these pulleys are well made , fit perfect , well worth the money , packaged very well . car runs great still idles perfect , beautiful pulleys , I'm very happy

    I daily a 24V MKIV GTI. Recently, my tensioner pulley bearing went out. I hit up the forums, and tried carving out that lip, to press out the bearing. No dice.

    As it turns out though, you can't buy just the pulley anywhere else online... you have to buy the entire tensioner assembly. OEM was around $180, and aftermarket $120. I called Paul from Grüven, he returned my call the same night, and shipped it overnight. For less than an aftermarket tensioner assembly with a plastic pulley, I was able to get a billet aluminum pulley of superior design.

    Packaging was simple and efficient. The pulley itself had no manufacturing marks. Everything measured perfectly. No burs,dents, or scratches. The best part, is that the bearing is held by a snap ring, making for easy bearing replacement years down the road.

    No issues with, or after installation. Great product. Awesome customer service. You might think it's pricey, but if you're in need of a solid, quality product, I'd recommend them.

    These are beautiful pulleys. Kinda hated to hide them under the hood, but boy, what a difference!
    There is no way for me to objectively measure the effect, but seat of the pants tells me that there is at least a 15% difference in spool-up speed. It just cranks.
    Definitely a major improvement in grin-on-your-face enjoyment to an already quick car.
    Highly recommended.
