Company Policies

SHIPPING AND HANDLING 

Shipping is specified at the time of order.  You can choose USPS or UPS.  All orders take several business days to process.  We will do our best to beat that time but please be prepared to wait a few days before the shipment is sent.  Out of stock items will require longer lead times, please call or email if you would like to know the status of the product being ordered. For international shipments, the customer is responsible for any and all duties, tariffs or any other fee associated with importing an item into your country. If you choose to not pay these fees, we may charge your credit card the appropriate amount without further notice. Please note : if you ship to a different address than the billing address, the order will be flagged and marked manual verification.  You will need to contact us directly BEFORE that order will be shipped.  You can thank the credit card scammers for that.

ALL SHIPMENTS ARE FULLY INSURED.  IN THE EVENT AN ITEM IS LOST, DAMAGED, OR STOLEN DURING SHIPPING, PLEASE NOTIFY US AND WE WILL FILE AN INSURANCE CLAIM.  YOU WILL BE ASKED TO FILL OUT A BRIEF AFFADAVIT FORM WHICH TAKES UNDER 1 MINUTE TO VERIFY THE LOSS.  INSURANCE NORMALLY REQUIRES APPROXIMATELY 20 DAYS WITHIN USA AND 40 DAYS OUTSIDE OF USA FROM SHPMENT DATE TO SETTLE CLAIMS.  WE SETTLE ALL CLAIMS VIA REFUND OR REPLACEMENT PARTS ONCE INSURANCE HAS APPROVED THE CLAIM, NOT BEFORE.  PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM OUR SITE IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THIS INSURANCE POLICY.  WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER SHIPPING COMPANIES OR IF YOUR NEIGHBOR STEALS YOUR PACKAGES.  ALL WE CAN DO IS INSURE EACH PACKAGE AND AHDERE TO THE INSURANCE COMPANY POLICIES. 

USPS DISCLAIMER : If you choose USPS as the shipping method, please be advised that tracking may not be accurate or may not update at all.  Also, USPS has historically had a high number of lost packages.  We do buy insurance for every shipment, but be advised this process can take more than 30 days once insurance is involved.  USPS does not have much of any customer support.  We realize USPS is usually much less expensive than UPS, however they have proven to be less reliable.  You are assuming a risk if you chose USPS as your shipping method and we will not be able to contact them in the result of a lost package.  We will however be able to file insurance, however the insurance process could take longer than 30 days to resolve.

GRUVENPARTS.COM is committed to bringing you quality products at competitive prices. Due to currency fluctuations, prices are subject to change without notice. GRUVENPARTS.COM reserves the right to cancel any and all orders without prior notice. Advertised prices are applicable to in-stock 


PAYMENT 
VISA or MASTERCARD are the accepted payment methods. All orders must be paid in United States funds. Money Orders and checks will be accepted, but checks will be held until they clear our bank. All credit card orders will be shipped to the billing address of the credit card without exceptions. 

Due to an extremely high fraudulent transaction rate, we can no longer accept PayPal payments.  PayPal also no longer provides an acceptable level of customer service.  We suggest you AVOID USING PAYPAL for any online transaction and we will no longer accept PayPal payments.

DAMAGES 
GRUVENPARTS.COM packs every order with care to ensure that it arrives undamaged. It is your responsibility to inspect all packages upon delivery and to make the delivering carrier aware of any damage to the packages. If there is damage to any of the packages, please contact the carrier not GRUVENPARTS.COM. The carrier will advise you of the proper procedures to make a claim for damages. If the carrier's procedure is not followed, the carrier may not honor the claim. 

We are not responsible for shipping errors or items lost in transit by our carriers. We take every precaution to make sure that your items are delivered in a prompt, safe manner. In the event of damage or non-delivery, we must file a claim with and receive approval from our carrier before offering any re-imbursement of any type. 

RETURNS & REFUNDS 
We accept returns for valid reasons upon approval from GruvenParts.com.  No returns will be allowed by GRUVENPARTS.COM after 14 days of receipt of parts. 

We cannot accept returns on any electronic items including door lock motors, mirror motors, or complete units including motors.

All returns must have prior approval from GRUVENPARTS.COM. Contact GRUVENPARTS.COM to receive a authorization. No returns will be accepted without prior authorization. 

** All returns that have been shipped are subject to a restocking fee of 35%.  This is due to the handling fees which we incur for every shipment as well as the credit card processing fees for each order.  We have no control over these expenses.  There are no refunds for shipping.

 

** All cancelled orders that have been processed but not yet shipped will incur a 3% + $0.30 transaction fee.  This is due to the credit card processor fees which we have no control over.




All returned parts must not have been installed, altered, disassembled or abused and be NEW condition. Damaged parts are not returnable. 

WARRANTY
All products sold by GRUVENPARTS.COM are warranted for 1 year after sale date. Warranty claims will be honored only on parts purchased from GRUVENPARTS.COM. Warranty claims or returns will not be honored for parts that have been installed improperly or altered from original. Warranty claims must have proper documentation including original invoices showing purchase dates. No warranty claim will be honored for any labor, sublet or freight charges. All competition and/or high performance parts are sold without any warranty expressed or implied. These parts are sold for off-road use only. The buyer assumes all risk. All sales of these parts are final. 

Exclusions from Warranty. This warranty shall not apply to any Product that was not properly installed by a qualified, licensed auto mechanic experienced in the installation of the Product purchased, any Product that was improperly serviced, or any Product that was misused or damaged (if such damage did not result from a Product defect or malfunction). This warranty shall not apply unless the Consumer promptly discontinues use of the Product upon discovery of the defect or premature wearing. This warranty does not apply to any shipping fees.  All products which are associated with a warranty claim must be returned to GruvenParts at the buyers expense for warranty evaluation and disposition.  

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO ANY PRODUCT THAT HAS BEEN: (1) MODIFIED, ALTERED OR SUBJECTED TO ABUSE, NEGLIGENCE, ACCIDENT OR COLLISION; (2) IMPROPERLY INSTALLED ON ANY VEHICLE FOR WHICH IT WAS NOT DESIGNED; (3) INSTALLED ON ANY VEHICLE THAT HAS BEEN MODIFIED; (4) INSTALLED ON ANY VEHICLE THAT HAS CARRIED LOADS IN EXCESS OF THE AUTOMOBILE MANUFACTURER’S SUGGESTED WEIGHT LIMITS; (5) INSTALLED ON ANY VEHICLE THAT HAS BEEN USED FOR ANY RACING EVENT, RACING-TYPE ACTIVITIES; OR (5) PRESENTED FOR WARRANTY COVERAGE AFTER BEING USED ON A VEHICLE OTHER THAN THE VEHICLE ON WHICH IT WAS ORIGINALLY INSTALLED. 

THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED (INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE), THAT EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE DISCLAIMED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. 

IN NO EVENT SHALL GRUVENPARTS.COM LLC, ITS DIVISIONS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF USE OF VEHICLE, REVENUE, SALES, OR COSTS OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS, PROPERTY DAMAGE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGE TO VEHICLE OR COMPONENT PARTS, PERSONAL INJURY, INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS, OR FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, ECONOMIC, COVER, AND PUNITIVE DAMAGES, RESULTING FROM POSSESSION, USE OR MALFUNCTION OF THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF GRUVENPARTS.COM LLC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF THOSE DAMAGES. SOME STATES DO NOT PERMIT THE EXCLUSION OF CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. TO THE EXTENT THAT A STATE DOES NOT ALLOW AN EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY BUT ALLOWS A LIABILITY TO BE LIMITED, THE LIABILITY OF GRUVENPARTS.COM LLC, ITS DIVISIONS, EMPLOYEES AND AFFILIATES SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT. 

THIS WARRANTY GIVES THE CONSUMER SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS. THE CONSUMER MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS THAT MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. 

This warranty information and the specific warranty information included with the Product constitutes the entire agreement between GRUVENPARTS.COM LLC and Consumer and exclusively determines the rights and obligations of the parties, any prior course of dealing, custom or usage of trade, or course of performance notwithstanding, and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether oral or written.
