Description

MKIV R32, EOS, Touareg, A3, and Audi TT Bushings Now Available!

Finally - Replacements for the problematic OEM VW intake manifold shift rod bushings – in most cases theres no need to buy a replacement shift rod!

These bushings are sold in sets of 2 to replace the 2 bushing rods - if you have the very early 99.5 model year with the even more pathetic 5 bushing rod, you need to buy a 2 bushing rod to use these.

The OEM bushings wear quickly and become the source of loud rattles you hear during acceleration and deceleration. The worn OEM bushings will quickly eat your plastic intake manifold, and cause expensive repairs.

gruvenparts.com Intake Manifold Bushings are thicker, made from more durable material, and most importantly, geometrically designed to maximize surface area contacting the intake manifold. Our bushings are made using CNC equipment with very tight tolerances as a matched set. The set up and programming times are extensive.

Please note, if your VR6 has been rattling excessively, you may need to replace the plastic intake manifold. The GruvenParts.com bushings should still be used in the new manifold to prevent this problem from occurring again.

Best Purchase Ive Made Yet A+

Posted by Ross on 10th Jul 2015

Having that awful rattle for so long made me hate driving my car. After installing these bushings (which took about 20 mins) transformed my car into a whole new beast. Car works and sounds healthy again. Cant believe it took me this long to pull the trigger on these. Looking into some more Gruvenparts gear for the car now.

Excellent product, completly fixed my engine for sure...

Posted by jimmy croslow on 12th Jun 2015

Bought these bushings, hoping that it was the cause for the marbles in a tin can sound, which drove me nuts. Ive replaced all timing components, and still had a rattle. Installed these bushings and now it sounds like a new engine again. I appreciate the gruven parts guys for making great parts for us vr6 owners out. I already have a list of more parts to order as well. Thanks again.... Jimmy C. Richmond,in

    I'm seriously shocked

Posted by Jeff on 6th Apr 2015

I knew my factory bushings where shot but had no idea how much quieter the car would be after these. Literally took me 15 minutes and the result beyond impressed me.

Posted by Unknown on 2nd Apr 2015

Product did its job now I have a wrapping noise when I turn the car on . I'm not sure if it's the timing guides or the valves but it coming from the drivers side of the engine the car sounds boggy

Solved my rattling noise WHAT A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE !!!!

Posted by Yas on 1st Apr 2015

I had a long suspicion as to what the noise was. so after some research and actually seeing my worn bushing i bought theses replacements. Like another reviewer said best $50 buck spent. The install was a lil worrisome because they make it snug to go in and even got held up at one point i got nervous. Once installed to took about 20 mins to complete. Engine feel and response was quite notable. 2002 vr6 12v
