As many of you already know, the door lock actuators in your 2007-2017 GM Acadia, Enclave, Outlook and Traverse vehicles are VERY unreliable. Most units suffer motor failures which can make locking and unlocking the vehicle a manual operation and very cumbersome to reach over to the failing door lock. Until now, you would have to buy a complete new unit from GM which can cost hundreds of dollars. And that money would be spent on yet another faulty door lock actuator motor which you already know will soon fail again. Talk about throwing good money after bad!

We have designed a new motor for these units based on a reliable, high torque design with the factory correct wiring input plug (plug and play!). Our motor design has passed rigorous 35,000 lock/unlock cycle testing runs conducted continuously over the span of 2 full weeks.
The GruvenParts motors come with a NEW BRASS MOTOR GEAR pre-attached to exactly match the factory motor gear. To install the new GruvenParts high torque, reliable motor into the existing actuator, simply remove the actuator from the door and unscrew the 5 torx screws holding the actuator case halves together. There is no drilling or tapping required and this is a very fast procedure. Simply remove and replace the faulty old motor with ours, bolt the case halves back together, and reinstall the actuator into the door.
