GruvenParts.com is happy to announce this LIFETIME WARRANTED latest billet release for the Audi/VW 4.2L V8 engines with oil cooler pipe P/N 077-117-411A (077117411A).

Our version is machined here in house on one of our state of the art HAAS milling centers and carries a LIFETIME WARRANTY ! This part is milled from Aircraft Grade 6061-T651 Aluminum and includes 4 preinstalled Viton O-Rings for maximum durability.

The plastic OEM tube often cracks from heat degradation causing coolant leaks that could lead to the ultimate failure of the engine. The removal/installation of the oil cooler on these cars is very labor intensive, so dont put another plastic OEM tube back in. Do this job only once with our Billet 6061-T651 Aluminum tube with 4 Viton O-rings.

We have also included a complete DIY to assist you with the installation. Because this part requires a great deal of labor to get at, you should always install this Lifetime Warranted Billet 6061-T651 Aluminum Version when doing this job.

And remember, a warranty from an unknown supplier who could be gone tomorrow is not worth much! We have been around for over 20 years and will be here for many more!

Simple fix for a very common issue!

This will be my second Audi 4.2L with a broken oil cooler coolant line. Involved repair, but this guarantees I won't be doing it again, on this same car!

Can't explain what VW Audi was thinking to ever put that part in there in the first place... But to make it out of plastic. INSANE.!! Nobody cares about the car owner when it comes to removing engine for a coolant leak when that part fails. This is a very good quality part at a good price. Like it should have been from the factory. Thanks for all your work and being fair.

Great Product but this oil pipe could be even more complete with the other o-rings

Great part, much better than the plastic. Improvement could be to also have option to include all the other o-rings associated with the part to complete the job. -- response -- Thanks for that suggestion. I performed my Audi A8 4E 4.2 BFM engine full rebuild at an Audi dealer, which took around 2.5 weeks. Audi dealer admitted that this is very good alternative for original plastic part. They also confirmed that it fits perfectly and despite the fact that it's not the original part they were still able to give me two year warranty for full engine rebuild as all other parts was original. My car has 275000 km and the old plastic part, by the dealers words, just disintegrated at disassembly process in many smaller pieces and was leaking a bit prior rebuild. -- Response from Gruven -- Thanks Sandris, we wish more Audi dealers would realize the short coming of the OEM plastic part.
