Introducing the GruvenParts.com 6061-T651 billet aluminum 1.8T coolant flange P/N 06A-121-132AP (06A121132AP). This part is also interchangeable with 06A-121-133BB, 06A-121-133J, 06A-121-132D, 06A-121-132G, 06A-121-132Q (06A121133BB, 06A121133J, 06A121132D, 06A121132G, 06A121132Q).

The GruvenParts.com version is milled from 6061-T651 aluminum solids on our precision HAAS CNC milling centers. We then professionally TIG weld the junctions and fully pressure test the parts prior to shipping to customers. This product carries a LIFETIME WARRANTY. The part has a machined aluminum finish but can be painted, anodized, or powder coated in any color by the end user if desired.

The GruvenParts version offers the following options, please carefully choose your desired option during check out :

1. Exact 6061-T651 aluminum replica of the OEM part, with all ports.

2. Same as Option 1, except deleting the Oil Cooler feed nipple

3. Same as Option 1, except deleting the Heater Core feed nipple

4. Same as Option 1, except deleting both the Oil Cooler and Heater Core feed nipples

All options retain the sensor port. Please also note that a standard size Viton flange to head O-ring is included. This will not include the coolant temp sensor or sensor O-ring and clip (however we can supply them if need be - just email).

Audi MK1 TT with 1.8T engine*

Solved my coolant leak and looka great

Had a lot of issues with leaking coolant on my 1.8T after deleting the heater core and factory oil cooler. This flange fit my need perfectly, with a snug fit for the coolant temp sensor and o-ring, and just the single outlet I needed for the upper radiator hose. Took a while to arrive, but was well worth it now that I have a reliable cooling system once again.

First off great customer service and response time. My coolant flange broke on a Sunday and I had part by Friday and I live opposite coast. Product quality was best if not better than expected for like product available. Very clean install and great fitment. -- Thanks for the review, please post install pics on vortex. Nobody seems to know about this part !

finally a permanent coolant flange

I bought the billet cooling flange a while back when the pre-sale was happening. It took me a while but I fanally installed it yesterday 9/27/15. The installation went smooth just like installing the original crappy plastic Audi mk1 TT flange that's prone to breaking. The new flange looks great too bad is somewhere where you really can't show it off to people, but I'm glad to know I won't have any cooling leaks due to this new billet cooling flange.

Nice product, a little expensive on the pocket but will save money and hassle of replacing the plastic OEM flange over and over. Would recommend to friends and fellow vw owners, thanks for making a great product. --- Response --- Thanks for the write up! Can you post some pics on vortex installed ? Only a few have actually posted pictures installed, we always love to see these on these great cars !

Decent product for a decent price

Not too large like other products (4y hose flange). It could definitely use some better welds. I have no concern about leaking being and issue but better looking welds would help improve the aesthetics of the piece if looks is important to you. The welder obviously didn't have his gases set correctly for a clean and crisp weld. Very strong and well made product other than that. -- Response from Gruven Travis, those welds can be ground and polished if you wanted to make it look more seamless. For the price, it was not feasible for us to do that.
