VR6 Cogged Supercharger Pulleys

GruvenParts.com is announcing this prebuy for a set of ultra lightweight billet aluminum cogged supercharger pulleys intended for use on the MKII/MKIII/MKIV VW VR6 engines using VF or AMS Vortech supercharger kits.  All pulleys in this kit are custom CNC machined with an 8MGT positive drive profile from 6061-T651 aerospace grade aluminum and are hard anodized black.  This lightweight cogged pulley kit reduces the rotating mass of the OEM serpentine pulleys by more than 7 lbs and will turn your supercharged VR6 into a lightning bolt !  

Please see the specific information listed below for each pulley and note this is a prebuy which means we will build them once we receive some interest.  Lead time is a few weeks once we begin production and you can check the status of your prebuy by emailing Paul@GruvenParts.com.  Pricing will be $899 per kit and if you chose to delete the A/C or PS pulleys, that will deduct $100 per pulley from the kit price.

Lightweight Cogged Supercharger Pulley : Machined to perfectly fit Vortech chargers installed with the AMS or VF kits (use the supplied spacer if you have the VF kit).  This pulley is sized at 24T (2.4"), 28T (2.75"), or 32T (3.1") with an 8 MGT positive drive cog profile and is hard anodized in black.  You will reuse your existing pulley woodruff key when installing this pulley.  Other sizes are available upon request, just email Paul@GruvenParts.com to inquire.

Lightweight Cogged Alternator Pulley : A cogged version the OEM serpentine alternator pulleys found on VW MK2, MK3 and MK4 12 VR6 VW engines with OEM P/N 021-903-119 (021903119) and P/N 022-903-119A (022903119A) and 038-903-119B (038903119B) for 24V VR6 engines.  Please verify your OEM P/N matches that shown, or is interchangeable with that shown before ordering.  This pulley uses a 8MGT positive drive cog profile and is hard anodized in black.

Lightweight Cogged Power Steering Pulley : A cogged version of the OEM power steering pulley to fit ALL MK2, MK3, and MK4 VR6 engines and replaces OEM P/N 021-145-255 (021145255).  This pulley uses a 8MGT positive drive cog profile and is hard anodized in black.

Lightweight Cogged Crank Pulley : A cogged version of the OEM crank pulley with specially machined key included to fit ALL MK2, MK3, and MK4 VR6 engines and replaces OEM P/N 021-105-243 (021105243) for 12V VR6 and 022-105-243A (022105243A) for 24V VR6.  This pulley uses a 8MGT positive drive cog profile and is hard anodized in black.  This pulley is sized the same as OEM so will not overdrive or underdrive any components in the system.

Lightweight Billet Aluminum Flat VR6 Water Pump Pulley : Our tried and true billet aluminum water pump pulley made to fit ALL MK2, MK3, and MK4 VR6 engines and replaces OEM P/N 021-121-031A (021121031A).

Flat Sided Ferrous Metal A/C Pulley : This flat sided pulley for the A/C compressor can be driven off the back (flat) side of the cog belt and will retain all functionality of the A/C compressor.  It must be made from a ferrous material to allow the A/C compressor electromagnetic clutch to operate properly.  We dont recommend running the A/C compressor if you are driving the engine hard as the belt could slip.  

Cog Belt :  At this time, we do not supply the cog belts.  Please chose a single sided cog belt with an 8MGT pitch.  These come in a variety of lengths so you will need to calculate the appropriate belt length to suit your specific application.
