Note this DIY is for 2009-2018 versions but the parts will also fit 2009-2024 Power Fold Manual Flip Up Ram Towing Mirrors

GruvenParts is happy to release our Gear Kits for the the Ram trucks from 2009-2024 with the power fold / manual flip up mirrors (as pictured on this page). Ram did release a new version of this mirror with power fold and power extend non-flip up in 2024 which does not use these parts. Please only order this if your towing mirrors use a manual flip up, power folding mirror.

Our replacement gears are machined from a solid chunk of high strength aerospace steel to exactly match the spiral and spur sections to replace the factory plastic gears which commonly fail in these power folding towing mirrors.  As you probably know, the cost of the towing mirrors is excessive from Ram, and will only include more plastic gearing which isn't suited for a mirror this big. Dont spend big money on an entire replacement flip up towing mirror assembly when you can easily fix and UPGRADE your existing OEM mirror so it never breaks again!

We offer installation kits which are included in the bundle options.  The installation kit will include stainless machined replacement mirror pivot tubes as well as specialized tooling made specifically to accomplish this repair. We recommend using our dedicated installation kit to accomplish this repair, as Ram has built this mirror in a way that would otherwise make it very difficult to repair (because they want you to buy a new mirror assy $$)

This product is sold with the following options :

- Complete gear kit to fix both Left and Right power fold flip up towing mirror including 2 new pivot tubes and installation hardware.

- Gear kit to fix either Left or Right power fold flip up towing mirror including 1 new pivot tube and installation hardware.

- 2 Gear kits only to repair both Left and Right mirrors.

- Gear kit only to repair either left or right mirrors. No installation kit or pivot tube provided.

- Installation kit only - includes all installation hardware (no pivot tubes)

- Mirror Pivot Tube

- Locking Ring (set of 2)

Applications :
