GM Brass Brake Pedal Adjuster Gear

1.00 LBS

Product Description

*** IN STOCK AND NOW SHIPPING *** is proud to release these redesigned SOLID BRASS gears for the brake pedal adjustment mechanism found in many GM trucks from 2003-2014 (and possibly many more).  The picture shows the style of unit this gear fits.

The OEM brake pedal adjuster unit in these vehicles uses a small, brittle plastic spur gear which is powered by an electric motor and serves to control the brake pedal position.  Unfortunately, the OEM gear is made from brittle plastic and typically cracks apart rendering the brake pedal adjuster mechanism useless.  Until now, the only solution was to source a complete new brake pedal adjuster unit for big bucks, then go thru the painstaking process of removing the dash to install a new OEM brake pedal adjuster unit - all to get another plastic, brittle gear.  And you already know how that story will end !

DONT WASTE TIME AND MONEY BUYING A NEW BRAKE PEDAL ADJUSTER UNIT. has solved this issue by designing and building replacement gears made from SOLID BRASS WHICH CARRY A LIFETIME WARRANTY.  The installation of our replacement solid brass gear is very easy and does not require dash removal.

Replace a weak OEM part with a bulletproof lifetime warrantied solid brass gear, save time and save money !  Win/Win/Win

Installation of this gear is very straight forward - remove the 3 torx screws holding the case halves together.  The old plastic gear can be unthreaded from the screw shaft and the new brass gear can easily be threaded on.  Replace motor and 3 torx screws and verify fitment by testing the adjuster unit.

This all brass gear replaces the brake pedal adjuster gear found in most 2003-2014 GM trucks including Escalade, Suburban, Silverado, Tahoe, Yukon, Sierra, Avalanche, and many others using the  following part numbers (note this list of Part Numbers is not complete!)

15-12-36-10 (15123610)

15-12-36-11 (15123611)

25-96-86-88 (25968688)

  1. Perfect Fit 5 Star Review

I purchased this part after seeing a forum on the Adjustable Pedal Assembly not working. I purchased the gear and it arrived in a few days. It fit perfectly! The one thing I wish is it came with a new E clip but that was no big deal. I'm so glad they make this part instead of having to replace the whole pedal assembly.

Part is machined beautifully and works great, just waiting for the accelerator pedal version then I’ll be set.

I thought I was out of luck fixing my adjustable pedals on my 2007.5 duramax, but, I saw a thread online that had the link to Gruvenparts and figured I’d check it out . It was easy to replace and fixed my issue! And I don’t think it’ll ever break again.
