GruvenParts.com is proud to release these redesigned SOLID BRASS gears for the brake pedal adjustment mechanism found in many GM trucks from 2003-2011 (and possibly many more).  

The OEM brake pedal adjuster unit in these vehicles uses a small, brittle plastic spur gear which is powered by an electric motor and serves to control the brake pedal position.  Unfortunately, the OEM gear is made from brittle plastic and typically cracks apart rendering the brake pedal adjuster mechanism useless.  Until now, the only solution was to source a complete new brake pedal adjuster unit for big bucks, then go thru the painstaking process of removing the dash to install a new OEM brake pedal adjuster unit - all to get another plastic, brittle gear.  And you already know how that story will end !

Installation of this gear is very straight forward - remove the 3 torx screws holding the case halves together.  The old plastic gear can be unthreaded from the screw shaft and the new brass gear can easily be threaded on.  Replace motor and 3 torx screws and verify fitment by testing the adjuster unit.

This all brass gear replaces the brake pedal adjuster gear found in most 2003-2011 GM trucks including Escalade, Suburban, Silverado, Tahoe, Yukon, Sierra, Avalanche, and many others using the  following part numbers :
