GruvenParts.com MK2/MK3 VW Billet Strut Caps - NOW IN STOCK !!!

Dress up your engine bay and take the shows by storm with our Billet Strut Caps made from 6061-T651 aircraft aluminum for VW MK2 and MK3 (MK4 coming soon). These billet caps are sold in sets of 2 and have a machined finish. These are available either in VW logo or plain. Read the description on the pictures, some have been lightly polished by hand (and we're sure you can do better - so let's see it!).

All strut caps are held in place by 3 included set screws. These are not just pressed onto the strut and are therefore locked on firmly.

These billet strut caps are intended to fit over the following OEM parts :

1H0-412-319B (1H0412319B) Stop
357-412-319B (357412329) Stop
1H0-412-356A (1H0412356A) Stop
357-412-411A (357412411A) Stop

and replace the cap found on some MK3 4 cylinder models :

1H0-412-329 (1H0412329) Cap

Our parts are specially machined to accept the strut stop/cap on all MK2 and MK3 Golf, Jetta, Passat, Corrado, Cabrio, Cabriolet from 1985-1999.

We'll also begin work on the MK4 versions as well, stay tuned!

Takes a little while to get the set screws to fit right (they could be a touch longer) but once you have the part set it looks great in the bay and fitment is spot on! Really dresses up the engine bay.

The caps were nicely packaged and shipped was quick. I'd would very much recommend this, they're of nice quality, excellent fitment and additional swag to the engine is a big plus. The snug fit along could keep the caps in place but three set screws are provided for additional security.

Please post up some install pics of VWVortex. Nobody knows about these caps it seems. Everyone buys the "stick on" billet strut caps which are pretty unsafe and cheesy looking...

I purchased a set of the Billet Strut caps, and was instantly satisfied. The website is very easy to maneuver around and find what you want . The shipping was extremely fast, and most importantly the strut caps. When I opened the safely packaged parts I had ordered I was instantly wowed! The quality and precision of the product is incredible. The only complaint I would have, and its more personal preference is the cap would be smooth vs having machined lines in their design . However, I will easily fix it for my taste and smooth them and mirror polish. Superior job and huge thank you goes out from a happy customer.
